The Power of Ten Leadership (POTL) Program is designed to develop leadership skills in up to ten early-career veterinarians—those who earned their DVM within the past ten years. The program offers enriching experiences that not only support individual growth but also positively impact participants' practices, communities, and the veterinary profession as a whole. The program helps recent graduates explore important questions such as:
“I've completed veterinary school and started practicing – but how can I get a better understand my own motivations and values?”
“Where do I fit within the larger landscape of my family, community, and profession – and how can I make a lasting impact?”
You will dive into topics such as personal and professional communication, financial development, the diverse aspects of organized veterinary medicine, and strategies for growing as a leader in your practice and the profession. MVMA covers the cost of meals, refreshments, and educational sessions for all participants. The program fosters a strong sense of community, with many participants forming lasting connections with their cohort. If you are interested in joining us in 2026 please let us know by indicating your interest here or call 651-645-7533 to speak to Nicole Kast ([email protected]) to find out more. 2025 POTL Schedule:
