CPR Basics: When the Beat Stops
Utilizing the RECOVER guidelines as a foundation, I will discuss the steps of basic CPR while also touching on some of the advanced techniques associated with monitoring these cases.  Objectives include defining and identifying the goal of CPR, the importance of a timely ABC assessment, providing adequate compressions, ensuring appropriate ventilation, and the importance of the team approach.
