2023 Lunch 'n Learn Series Discuss the importance of individual and group actions which veterinarians can participate in to address the Climate Crisis. Veterinarians are leaders in their communities and their voices and actions make important contributions to the future for both the animals and people they care for. Mike Overend is a husband, father, and retired veterinarian volunteering to create important solutions to the Climate Crisis and make the world better for our children, and the animals we all care for. He and his wife, Dr. Lucy Grina, co-owned a small animal practice in NE Minnesota for 34 years and they now see Climate Action as their most important work. Their goal is to help create important solutions and develop a sustainable future for people and communities. Their message is, "THERE IS HOPE TO ADDRESS THE CLIMATE CRISIS, BUT WE ALL MUST ACT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!" 1 interactive CE credit - Click here to register! |
