According to Dr. Larry Spicer, Executive Director of the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners:  "A licensed chiropractor may engage in the practice of animal chiropractic diagnosis and treatment if registered to do so by the Chiropractic Board and the animal has been referred to the chiropractor by a veterinarian.  No where [in the law] is there a requirement that the chiropractor be "certified" by any school.  They are merely required to graduate from an approved school, completing a specified number of hours.  The DC is authorized to practice spinal manipulation following registration with their Chiropractic Board and referral of an animal from a veterinarian."
